Internet Game Spotlight: Shift

Shift is a clever and intriguing Flash puzzle platformer. Set in black and white, you maneuver a man with the ability to “Shift” between the black and white areas, flipping the whole level around and changing your floor to your roof and vice-versa. Keys will move platforms certain ways and as the game puts it, “falling on spikes is sure to hinder your progress!”. The game was obviously inspired by Portal with its “test-subject” mentality, simple gameplay hook, and witty dialouge, but it’s so much more than a cheap rip off. Definitely give Shift a look.
